A reduced palette of natural materials creates continuity between inside and outside in this stunning Wānaka house. The raw Japanese cedar wall panelling inside has been finished in Ioka natural oil, with charred Japanese cedar (yakisugi) panelling featuring extensively throughout bathrooms, stairwells, and ceilings. The exterior uses our yakisugi or charred Japanese cedar cladding, battens, and mouldings.
